النخلة وحبل الصوع

علاقة بين الأرض والسماء… ما تنقطع

من قديم الأزل، كانت النخلة زينة الفِريج وسند الدار.

تعطي بلا حدود: تمرها غذاء، وليفها فراش، جذعها سقف، وسعفها ظلّ يهون حرّ القيظ وغبار الصيف.

وفي الأحساء، النخلة ما هي مجرد شجرة… هي روح في قلب البيت، وذكرى محفورة في ظلّها، تروي قصة أهلها وحبهم للأرض.

النخلة… روح الأرض

• النخلة عند الفلّاح مو مجرد محصول… هي مثل عياله، يعتني فيها، يشوفها تكبر قدّامه، يفرح بحملها، ويغار عليها من الجفاف.
• في كل بيت أحسائي، تلاقي نخلة، أو تلاقي ذكرى تحتها: جلسة ، أو طبخة مشوية، أو سوالف ما زالت عالقة في القلب.

حبل الصوع… رفيق النخلة والفلّاح

• حبل الصوع، ويسمونه بعضهم “الحابول” أو “الكر”، هو الحبل اللي يرتبط فيه الفلاح بنخلته.
• يستخدمه في الطلوع لجني الرطب أو تقليم السعف، يشدّه على خاصرته، ويبدأ رحلة التعب اللي فيها أمل وحب للأرض.
• صناعته ما هي سهلة، فيها خيوط من ليف النخل أو من الليف المشغول يدوي، وكل عقدة فيه لها حكاية، وكل لفة تمثل صبر يدّ جدّ أو أب.

رمزية الحبل

• أكثر من كونه أداة… هو رابط روحي بين الإنسان وشجرته، بين الأرض والسماء، بين التعب والرزق.
• يرمز للبساطة، للكرامة، للشجاعة، لأن اللي يربط الحبل ويصعد، ما يخاف من الارتفاع… عنده ثقة بربّه وبشجرته.

• In every Hassawi home, you’ll find a palm—or a memory under one: a gathering, a grilled meal, or conversations still echoing in the heart.

The Sou’ rope… the farmer’s lifeline

• The Sou’ rope—also called ḥābūl or karr by some—is what connects the farmer to his tree.
• He ties it around his waist to climb up and harvest ripe dates or trim the fronds. That climb is full of sweat, hope, and a deep love for the land.
• Making the rope isn’t easy. It’s woven by hand from palm fiber, with every knot telling a story, every twist reflecting the patience of a father or grandfather’s hand.

The rope as a symbol

• More than just a tool, it’s a spiritual link between man and his tree, between earth and sky, between hard work and the blessings that come with it.
• It stands for simplicity, dignity, and courage—because the one who ties the rope and climbs high doesn’t fear the height. He trusts his rope, his tree, and his Creator.
